Patterson) Conlee The following family history was gathered by my Grandmother, Mollie Patterson, and since Eleanor Hodge and I share the same relatives I thought i woiuld include it in The Prairie Historian. It is given here as "Grandma" gave it to me. Mary Ann Patterson Ziarnek Parents of Grandmother Elizabeth Baltzel Philp, my grandmother. Daniel Baltzel -- Born May 16, 1779 in Maryland Margaret Ware - Born August 11, 1775 in Morgantown, West Virginia. Their children are as follows: 1. Elizabeth Baltzel born February 22, 1804 2. Mary Ann B. Baltzel born August 12, 1805 3. Harriet Baltzel born February 16, 1807 4. Thomas Ware Baltzel born December 19, 1808 5. Daniel Baltzel, Jr. born March 19, 1811 died September 23, 1821 6. James Baltzel, born April 29, 1812 7. George Baltzel, born June 10, 1815 8. Margaret Briley Baltzel, born December 20, 1818 9. Christiana Baltzel, born January 25, 1820 died July 5, 1822 10. John Baltzel, born March 29, 1822 11. Daniel Holley Baltzel, born April 29, 1824 died September 15, 1824 Grandma's records show that Thomas Philp was born in Falmouth, England. maz Elizabeth Jane Philp, daughter of Number 1 above, Elizabeth Baltzel and Thomas Philp was born September 6, 1836 in Germantown, Bracken Co., Kentucky. Died February 4, 1921. She married Jackson McCullough in 1855, no children. In 1868, May 1, she married Thompson Smith (Smith T.) Conlee at Vandalia, Illinois.
